My Game Design & Development II class consisted of making 3 games throughout the course of the semester, working with a different team each time. This particular game is the result of a collaboration with a literature class that served as mock clients. We met with them regularly for 5 weeks and made a game based on their specifications.
This game ended up being incomplete, but we met all of the goals for the project. The focus of this class was on the game development process, which allowed us to make 3 games in 15 weeks.
In Mansion Escape, you help your character escape from an apartment tower full of zombies while collecting resources (the placeholder rubber ducky image was never replaced). Players are supposed to win when they reach the bottom of the tower, but we never closed our gameplay loop.
